Not counting on drums what do you do for fun:

Rather than practicing something else I like staying with my family, friends and girlfriend when my working schedule of rehearsals and tours allows me to. I love being in their company as much as I can.

Favorite Drink:

A glass of fine wine

Teacher:

Kike Colmenar, Quim Sole but specially with myself. I learn a lot playing on top of recordings and drawing my own conclusions about things. I love making lots mistakes and learning from them.

Highlight of your career so far:

I like to think everyday is the most important one. Being able to make a living of what I love the most makes me feel everyday is unique and different. But of course, the day I started my collaboration with Meinl was one of the most important and happiest days of my career.

Drumming strengths:

I think my advantage as a drummer is to know my place and role in the band and making the people I work with sound good as a whole. For the last years, I am very much concerned about the overall sound of the band rather than mine only. I try not to play more than necessary.

Drumming means to me:

Drumming is my life, my passion and my work. I do not conceive live without drums. I taught myself to be patient, working hard and be perseverant and never give up. But most importantly I taught myself to value what I am living, who I am being consequent with my own decisions.

Advice for up and coming drummers:

Be happy and enjoy every day with the instrument. These are two of the main ingredients to enjoy the path of learning an instrument.

How would you describe yourself:

Describing yourself is always a difficult thing to do. I am a happy person and that is the most important thing to me because when I believe that when you are happy you have all the necessary tools to over come, life's difficulties at your will and everything is much easier.

When I look back on my life one day, I would like to be able to say:

I would like to tell that I was a nice person and was not that bad at drumming.
