Probably to collaborate with artists like Steel Pulse and Tiken Jah Fakoly. And of course to playing in Dub Incorporation is a gift everyday. Playing for 20 000 people in Senegal too.
Drumming strengths:
Serious, groovy, energetic, and I listen to the others for playing the right rhythm.
Drumming means to me:
Pleasure and pain, heart vibration, timing, taking care of the musicians to make them feel good.
Advice for up and coming drummers:
The more culture you have, the best understood you'll have of any situatuion. Be cool and patient with yourself and youre musicians. Keep cool in every situation.
How would you describe yourself:
I think I'm a cool guy, I love my son and my wife, and I love beeing with my men on tour or in studio session.
When I look back on my life one day, I would like to be able to say:
