I drive my Mum’s Renault Modus because I’m hardcore like that!
Not counting on drums what do you do for fun:
I like to read a lot. I can’t do it on the road because I’m too easily distracted! I also occasionally get involved with comedy writing with a group called Casual Violence. The rest of the time I just enjoy being around my family and friends while I can!

Favorite Drink:
English Breakfast Tea with milk, no sugar
Teacher:
I’ve had some really great teachers over the years: Adam Bushell, Pat Garvey, Steve White and Martin France to name a few. Look them up!!
Highlight of your career so far:
Headlining the Main Stage at the Rock al Parque festival in Bogota, Colombia to approximately 50,000 people! It was such an incredible feeling – it was also the first time that I wasn’t sure if the stick I threw to the crowd was going to make it!
Drumming strengths:
Speed, power, (and I hope!) accuracy along with working in odd time signatures and with complicated arrangements and double kick
Drumming means to me:
Enjoyment, plain and simple
Advice for up and coming drummers:
Love playing! Nothing is more important
How would you describe yourself:
Hard working, approachable and good-humoured. Oh, and short!
When I look back on my life one day, I would like to be able to say:
That I was able to spend my brief time on this planet doing what I love
