I have worked with some, beggining with Erinque Arias, Joaquin López, Tommi Capiani, later I studied with Quim Solé, Gonzalo del Val, Toni Pagés and actually I work with David Xirgu.
Highlight of your career so far:
Regarding study, the day I finished my drums postgrade in Jazz Music in the Pablo Sarasate Conservatory at Pamplona. Talking about my profesional career with KOMA the fact of have the posibility to live for music, doing a style I love with great musicians in the band that makes me be a better musician day by day letting me play free and develope my own ideas. It´s a great luxury. The most imporant moment is now, because the band is growing up in all áreas.
Drumming strengths:
I think that sound, creativity and power… but overall being myself playing, although I don´t think I´m the right person to say this.
Drumming means to me:
Drumming is all. It´s my life. Since I was Young drums attracted me and the bigger I was the more they attract me. I think that´s something is inside me and I have to transmit it.
Advice for up and coming drummers:
Enjoy, that´s the main thing. If you don´t do it, there will be nothing. To make music there must be soul on it.
How would you describe yourself:
Restless, sensible, enthusiast, exlporer, nervous, impulsive
When I look back on my life one day, I would like to be able to say:
That I´ve done what I have wanted to do, with people I wanted and with all my love and affection.
