Place of birth:
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Favorite MEINL cymbal:
Car that you currently drive:
The first cab to drive by, or city transit.
Not counting on drums what do you do for fun:
Watch Star Trek, X-Files and Stargate. Legos, video games. I'm a sci-fi obsessed, immature boy.
Slurpees if we're talking all ages, gin and tonic if it's 21 +
None so far. I would love to take a class or two from Jarzombek, Adler or Portnoy though.
Highlight of your career so far:
My first drum ad ever (Mapex) was in DRUM! Magazine last month. That's the type of thing I can show my grandma and make her proud.
Counting/timing, and a grasp of some sort of technicality.
Drumming means to me:
Self-discipline...knowing when and where to do what and how to do it. It also means a strenuous aerobics session everyday.
Advice for up and coming drummers:
Don't get discouraged if a beat or time signature or technique is giving you trouble. There will be a day where you will laugh at yourself for ever having problems with it!
How would you describe yourself:
I am an easy-going, nerdy, chilled-out, sci-fi-loving geek who just happens to play the drums.
When I look back on my life one day, I would like to be able to say:
That I've visited every continent at least once.
