Highlight of your career so far:
Touring with The Baseballs, playing with Schulz & Soehne at the Fusion Festival 2008/2009. Played Timpani at the age of 19 with the Toyohashi Symphony Orchestra in Japan, Concerts in Bogota/Columbia with a Jazz Band, Vinyl Release on the Berlin Techno Label Vidab and Konsequenz, building the music studio audiozoo in Berlin.
Drumming strengths:
Tight open sound. Fresh, relaxed and humorous way of playing.
Drumming means to me:
Drumming means a lot to me. Its my passion, my life and my job to play drums and to make music. I couldn't find anything else that makes me happier.
Advice for up and coming drummers:
Don't get stuck into one musica style. Try to do as many different styles as you can, because that gives you a huge vocabulary and makes you open to a lot of different music. Support the music and not your ego.
How would you describe yourself:
I am a person with musical flexibility who tries to be harmonic in and outside the music.
When I look back on my life one day, I would like to be able to say:
I just did it!
