new for 2011 are five matched cymbal sets in the soundcaster fusion, soundcaster custom, mb10, mb8 and classics custom series.
every set includes a 14" medium hihat, a 16" medium crash, a 20" medium ride and comes with a free 22" cymbal case.

we've made a seperate video for each one. in every take, jost is playing more or less the same groove to give you the chance to compare every set directly with each other.

a few weeks ago we entered the studio and recorded a series of new cymbal demo videos featuring our artist jost nickel. here's the first clip from that session and it features our brandnew classics custom series.

they are made from b10 bronze alloy here in our german manufactory. available are medium- and powerful weight hihats, crashes, and rides as well as various splashes and chinas. classics custom cymbals are aimed more towards the pop, rock, heavy metal style of music and drumming. check out page 44 and 45 of our pure metal magazine for more information.

however hearing them says more than words; enjoy jost's playing using our new - medium weight - classics custom cymbals. an additional video where he uses all powerful classics custom models will be online soon too.

for the sake of completeness: the cymbals where mic'd with two schoeps mk4 cardoid overheads, an earthworks sr25 for the ride, and an akg c414 for the hihat.
