About the Meinl cymbals blog
hello and welcome to the first meinl cymbals blog entry. i am proud to be the one to kick it off. at the same time i am excited and a little bit nervous, because this is all new to us. we don't have any experience yet as far as blogging. we are curious how this will develop.
the goal of our blog is to give you a survey of all the things which actually happen at and around meinl. we'll guide you through some of our product developments and marketing ideas. we'll talk about music and a lot about drums and cymbals in general. since we are travelling quite a bit to lots of drum events, concerts and other music conventions, we'll share our first-hand experiences and discoveries with you. after all, for us it's about drums and drumming. from drummers, for drummers.
we encourge you to come back often and actively take part in the meinl blog. comment and share your ideas with us.
all of our blogs are uncensored and non filtered the records are not prepared by any marketing experts or agencies. we want you to get a closer insight on what is really going on at meinl. stay tuned and have fun with it.

Great begining!
So, first question:
I've heard some info about Meinl Day in Moscow this spring. Can you tell little more about it?
frenzy posted on Wednesday, 09-01-08 16:28
very good. I think meinl has the best website of all cymbal companies. great. Everything I need and am interested in is here, and in cool design.

hello everyone - thanks a lot for your positive feedback.
@ vitaly
at the moment there are no plans for an official meinl day in moscow. i dont know where you have heard that rumour, but it is not true. you never know though, it might happen at some point in the future. i will keep you posted either way.
ok, its late and i am kind of tired. just completed a 600km drive coming back from eindhoven/holland where i met with the guys from "drumstation". great store and good people.
stay tuned.......

Hi,
Peter
norbert posted on Saturday, 07-06-08 00:07
hallo peter,
in diesem sinne, nochmal sorry !

Hey, I just bought my first Meinl cymbal. I purchased a Byzance 21" crash; awesome. All my cymbals are A Custom until now. A friend uses Meinl, and I really liked the tone, so I went for it. Since I bought it from an eBay dealer, I'm wondering if Meinl will still warranty it (it is new)? Thanks, Jim
