FINDING NEW PRODUCTS MADE EASIER

click on the tag NEW 2010 in the product section and all new products we introduced for this year will show up

all new products are shown on top. simply scroll to the product you want to see

i got an email from jost nickel, drummer of jan delay & disko no.1. he had a great idea about our website. he suggested to install a button which collectively shows all new products we introduced for 2010. this way you don' have to search through the entire product section in order to find out what's new.

no sooner said than done: when you click on products you can see the tag-cloud at the bottom. there is a tag called new 2010. when you click on it, all of the new products for 2010 will show up collectively. no more time-consuming search necessary. all news 2010 at a glance.

thank you for the hint jost.

Meinl has a fantastic website, but there needs to be some more content with user input. I think that Meinl should have a R & D section on the website where they display their latest projects, and where users can comment and make suggestions. Since you are marketing cymbals to us, the consumers, then we should have a part in deciding what we want.

    Some other, more basic ideas:

    - A cymbal selector
    Soft Loud
    Dark Bright
    etc.

    - Cymbal Set-up
Something where you can pick all the cymbals you want, display them around a drum kit, and then hear them with each other.

    - User Meinl-themed videos, where drummers and percussionists can show off their Meinl products and talents to others.

Finally, I think there should be cymbal/series pairing, where you recommend what cymbals and series sound good together.

I know that's a lot, but I hope you take my ideas into mind!

Speaking of 2010 products, I got an e-mail from Helge saying that my pic was printed for the Friends of MEINL contest, but I just checked the pdf catalog and I can't find me haha...
