I've only used Paiste's mobile app, and I'm not a dedicated Paiste guy, per se. My point is that I think many people would use your app, even if they are not current customers. We all have 5 minutes here and there to wait on something, so why not read about and listen to cymbals? If you make a mobile site, please include photos of each model, along with soundfiles. If there was a "favorite" or "wish list" feature to store models for comparison and possibly a mapping feature that would locate the nearest Meinl dealer to the users current location. I hope you decide to do it. Keep us posted!

I think the most important aspects for a mobile site would be to be able to view, listen, share and save favourite cymbals and maybe artists too. A store locator would also be handy. I think another really awesome feature, not just for a mobile website but for the actual website too would be to be able to put your favorite cymbals next to each other to hear each one as it would sound as part of a full cymbal set up, to make sure a certain cymbal would match your others for example.
    Hope that helps!

Yes, Ian's ideas are fantastic. I would love to have something akin to Sabian's "Set up builder" feature on both this site and a mobile app too. It would make it much easier to see how cymbals blend, and a store locator in the app would be a necessity. Basically, everything he said.

Well, If anything, you should really make a mobile application for iPhone and Android because no cymbal companies have that and that would be truly unique but either way, I think you shall keep the sound demos of every cymbal.
