Meinl cymbals is pleased to welcome Per Lindvall to its family of artists.
Per has been the leading session drummer in Scandinavia for almost 30 years, and has been a tremendous influence for many drummers due to his incredible time and groove.

Per was only 21 years old when he played on sessions for the world famous band ABBA. The super hit Super Trouper is one of the songs he did with the band. Despite his young age, he was already by then a regarded session drummer and had been touring since the age of 13. Per’s playing can be heard on thousands of recordings and he has played for artists such as Stevie Wonder, Michael Ruff and Nils Landgren.

Today, Per is touring with different Scandinavian artists, with his own trio bRONk and does session work all over Europe. He is using Meinl Byzance Jazz, - Traditional, - Extra Dry and - Dark Series in his current set up.

Meinl Cymbals is pleased to welcome Jeff Irizarry to its family of artists. Jeff plays for CCM star Peter Furler,  formerly of the Grammy nominated & Dove Award winning group Newsboys. Jeff just wrapped up a featured spot with Peter as part of the Winter Jam 2012 Tour Spectacular.

Meinl Cymbal artist Matt Zebroski will host a masterclass / clinic with The Alex Skolnick Trio at The Collective School of Music in New York City on May 10 at 7pm.

Meinl artist Dirk Verbeuren will host a number of drumclinics in China.

Meinl Cymbals is pleased to welcome Mike Heller to its family of artists. Mike just landed one of the most coveted drum chairs in metal: Fear Factory.

After other obligations left world renowned metal drummer Gene Hoglan unavailable to tour in support of FF's upcoming album 'The Industrialist,' FF hosted a series of auditions to replace Gene. Mike tried out and nailed it.

Here's what Mike had to say about joining the band: "It is an incredible honor to be chosen as the new drummer for Fear Factory! It's something I never would have dreamt of as a kid listening to "Soul of A New Machine" and "Demanufacture" over and over again in middle school. It's also an incredible honor to be following in the footsteps of two of the most amazing and influential drummers in metal drumming history. I hope to continue their legacy, creating some of the most forward-thinking and innovative music available today."

Mike made a name for himself for his work with his bands Malignancy and System Divide. According to Sick Drummer Magazine, "Mike is also one of the best drum teachers in the industry. Mike himself studied at The Collective School of Music in NYC and has since instructed countless industry professionals and worked with them (on and off tour) to improve their technique, overcome muscle issues, gain control and a myriad of other characteristics of being a pro drummer.
