What Is Your Idea?

Which of our artists would you want us to feature in an interview like that again?

Over the last couple of months we have published an interview series featuring the original James Brown drummers Clyde Stubblefield and Jabo Starks. I hope you got lots of inspiration from that documentary. And for your enjoyable viewing experience, here are all six episodes one after another.

A few days ago I asked myself which one of our artists should be next to be featured in an extensive interview series? Who would have something to tell that we could present in such form again?

Therefore my question to all of you: Which of our artists would you want us to feature in an interview like that? If you have any ideas I would love to hear them.

Thanks for your input. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hannes Grossmann, because his new album is siiiiick and I'd love to hear him talk about.

Or Chris Coleman, because he is so cool and this is really pleasant to ear him talk.

Or Derek Roddy, for the same reason.

Or Matt Gartska, again for the same reason^^

Thx ! Meinl FTW \m/

It would be a great idea to pick some artists from totally different genres (Jazz, Metal, Latin) and let them discuss about a certain subject such as "what is groove?", "what let you grow as a musician?" etc.... So that would then have more a character of a round table.

Chris Coleman and/or Wolfgang Haffner. The first for a "backstage" look into what it's like to work with the likes of Chaka Khan, Prince etc., the latter for his own work as a composer and sideman in many contemporary projects.
