i went to our drumroom here at meinl today and was checking out a new cymbal stack idea. incidentally our new 22" byzance extra dry thin ride was still up on the set. so i kept playing that for a while. people were absolutely raving about that new ride at namm and the more i played it today the more obvious it is to me why. it feels great and responds right back to you no matter how soft or loud you play. it kept up with my musicality at every dynamic level. can't wait to try it with my band at our next rehearsal. imho one of our most brilliant releases this year.
