#MeinlFactoryTour

What you see here is how we lathe the underside of a 21" Byzance Transition Ride, Mike Johnston's signature model (cymbal spinning counter clockwise). This lathing process is responsible for the sound transition from articulate sticking to wide open crashing and back.

I was coincidentally walking by the lathing station in our cymbal factory this morning while this unique process was going on and I had to take this picture. You don't get to see this often. Hope you like it.
