NEW FROM OUR CUSTOM CYMBAL SHOP

Last week our artist Florian Alexandru-Zorn visited me to work on a sound idea he had for two rides and a hihat. Both rides started as a 21" Byzance Big Apple Ride, and we lathed one of them down stepwise to make it thinner on the outside. The other one (left-side ride) we simply sandblasted on both sides.

The hihat is a 13" Byzance Extra Dry which we lathed on the edge only and sandblasted the top cymbal.

Florian has made a nice little video where he demonstrates the sounds of all three models. We are working on new ride models for next year, so what do you think about them?

Hallo,
Ich habe die Becken schon live hören dürfen ( Florians Workshop in Österreich )
Ich finde die klingen sehr schön warm, weich und doch sehr prägnant!
Die sind euch sehr gut gelungen! Empfehlenswert!!!!

Those are some tasty sounding cymbals. Though it always helps having them played by someone like Florian.

I'd travel far and wide for that left-side ride.
