Off To Pasic Indianapolis

chicken or pasta? is what the lovely lufthansa flight attendant will ask me tomorrow again on my flight from frankfurt to chicago. it's that time of the year again when the percussive arts society gets together for their annual international convention (pasic). this year it's going to take place in indiana from november 11 - 14. i've never been there yet, so i'm very excited to go. not only do we have some exciting news to come out with, but more than that, pasic has always been a very special show for meinl. this year's show wont be an exception with two of our artists benny greb and felix pollard performing there. pasic hosts tons of great drum- percussion- marching- orchestral workshops from artists all around the world. i really recommend to everyone - including european's - to consider making the trip to pasic at least once. it's a one-in-a-lifetime experience. and when you look at the current dollar/euro exchange rate, it's not that crazy expensive anymore.

as usual when i am travelling i will send regular updates and fotos through our facebook and twitter channel. so stay tuned and i hope to see some of you in indianapolis during the next couple of days!

chicken or pasta? - my answer will be BOTH! AND A GLAS OF WINE - cheers to a great PASIC 2009
