Meinl Cymbal artist Jon Rice of Job For a Cowboy gave his second clinic ever at Alto Music in Middletown, NY last Thursday, February 24 for a sold out room. More than 80 folks showed up to watch, listen, and learn from Jon, who is already considered to be one of the leading drummers in the field of extreme/technical/death metal.

Meinl Cymbals is extremely pleased to announce that the winner of Guitar Center's 22nd Annual Drum Off, Isaias Gil, has chosen to join the company's growing family of dedicated cymbal artists.

As a contestant of the 2010 Drum Off Finals in Los Angeles, CA, which took place on January 08, 2011, Isaias proved his worth as a drumming force to be reckoned with. His drumming was musical, tasteful, restrained when called for, and laden with heavy duty chops at all the right moments.

With the future wide open and some serious plans in the works for furthering his career as a musician, it's very safe to say that you should keep your eye out for Isaias Gil.
