Meinl Cymbals is proud to welcome US drummer Alex Rudinger to its family of cymbal artists. Quickly establishing a name for himself as one of the more accomplished technical and extreme drummers on the scene, Alex splits his time between various projects such as Threat Signal, Ordinance, Fleshwrought (with fellow Meinl Cymbal artist Navene Koperweis from Animals As Leaders on guitar!) and his own extremely popular youtube.com channel.

Alex's playing is a study in relaxation, control and creativity. Welcome to the family Alex!

Vice President Mike Klue and Drums and Percussion Buyer Jim Cassells from the Long & McQuade music store chain in Canada visited the Meinl cymbal factory and Meinl distribution center in Gutenstetten, Germany on Monday June 6, 2011. Long & McQuade is the largest music retailer in Canada and carries both the Meinl Percussion and Meinl Cymbal brands in their stores.

Meinl Cymbals would like to welcome Austin Thornton to its family of cymbal artists. Austin plays drums for the Atlanta, GA based super heavy and technical rock band Woe, Is Me. Currently Austin and Woe, Is Me are gearing up for a summer long stint on the illustrious and extremely hot VANS Warped Tour.

Meinl Cymbal artists Chris Coleman and Kent Aberle will both give clinics at Atlanta Pro Percussion in Smyrna, GA this Saturday, June 18. Clinics start with Chris Coleman going on at 1pm and Kent Aberle at 3pm.

The Derek Roddy Invasion Clinic Tour has been announced!

This is an extra special tour. Not only will Meinl Cymbal artist Derek conduct his traditional clinic in the evenings, he will also spend 2+ hours on the drum shop floor to be the celebrity salesperson at each store.
