he's super good. i like reduced to mere filth. but does anyone know what type of double bass he does? like is it full leg or ankle?

It is not possible for him to use full leg (physically). He has to play songs like "Strings Of Hypocrisy" and "Bearing The Serpent's Lamb". They both reach 240-250 bpm on double bass, especially the former. You have to switch to an ankle motion of some kind, otherwise those speeds are impossible. As for which technique he uses, I'm not sure. Sorry . . .

he uses heels down, i watched a vid on youtube of him recording a track for the ruination album, its probably still there
