Matt Halpern just dropped this killer video that he recently filmed. Here he is playing his band Periphery's "22 Faces." Matt's Meinl Cymbal set up, from left to right, if sitting behind the kit, is as follows:
- 15" Byzance Traditional Hi-Hats
- 8" ByzanceTraditional Splash
- 18" Byzance Traditional Medium Crash
- 22" Byzance Symmetry Ride
- 18" Byzance Traditional Extra Thin Hammered Crash
- Stack consisting of 18" Byzance Dark China on bottom
w/ 17" Byzance Jazz Medium Thin Crash on top
- 20" Byzance Extra Dry China
"I thought it was about time to record some high-quality video playthroughs of a few Periphery songs. This one in particular is a song off of our newest release, Juggernaut: Alpha, entitled "22 Faces."
Thank you to my friend and fellow Meinl Cymbal artist, Anup Sastry for allowing me to film in his home studio. We had a blast putting this together, and there are more video playthroughs to come!
