Yeah! More Unearth please! Too bad that Mike Justin left, but Derek does also a very good job.

Besides: Maybe not a good idea, putting the cam right over the china^^

This guy is the balls. I dont know if his position in Unearth is official yet but from what I've heard and seen from him I think it should be.He plays incredible and he's a blast to watch. Looks like he's truly having a great time up there.
Im not a drummer so I cant say anything about the cymbals but if he's using them they must be good stuff.Too bad he's gotta look at that fag Susi night after night though. (relax assholes...I'm kidding)

no his position isnt final.. i wish it was but its not... i talked to him when they were in st louis on the 1st and he said that hes gunna play with them til they found a new person but hes got the project with jamey and the project with a few killswitch dudes so he doesnt know what will become

Hey brothers!

Thanks for checking out this vid and posting such kind words. Means a lot to me, man. Thanks to Meinl, also - for the many years of support.

My position with Unearth is officially NOT official, but I'm not going anywhere for a long time either. As a matter of fact....we are already 50% into the writing of the new record and I'm scheduled to be with them for all live appearances through the end of the year.

I am still actively involved with Kingdom of Sorrow (which is the band in the previous comment which includes Jamey from Hatebreed and Kirk from Down....check out the stuff!), but we are all so busy with our primary projects that it will be very minimal touring for now.

Seemless is on a little hiatus, but we have new material that we are very excited about.

So, as it stands....Unearth is my priority and things are going VERY well. It's just not as easy as people this be joining bands prematurely. I've been with them for a year, but I'm happy with the arrangement we have.

Much respect to yall' and keep the groove alive!

I've seen Derek play in NY and he plays so well. I love watching him play, looks like he's having mad fun. Keep kicking ass!

Wow, such an intelligent comment. I've seen Derek play with Unearth and watched the dvd twice and I have no clue what the hell youre talking about. Go to youtube yourself and see how sloppy their last drummer was compared to Derek. I haven't seen anyone that solid in a long time and Unearth sounds like twice the band now that he's playing with them. He's definitely a rare breed of passionate players and a very humble dude. You must be one angry little boy.

i have to agree and disagree, Mike is an amazing drummer, there are very few who can drum like he can, as it says on the DVD, he just was getting restless and there wasnt a chemestry between him and the rest of Unearth, so in turn he just stopped caring. Derek is just as good, if not better then Mike. He has re-created all of the beats and added some other shit to the mix , i think he is a fantastic drummer. I just had to comment cause Mike is also a really good drummer as well.
