This is wonderful video featuring two of the greatest, innovative, and trailblazing drummer of our time. The content of the video was good. I learn a lot about each guy. The only problem was the truck noises, that was distracting. It would have worked out a lot better had it been done in another setting. If it were possible, I think this video should be redone. I would love to see them together again.

oscar, thanks for your nice feedback. i totally agree about the distracting noice coming from the trucks, but you know, at namm, you dont have much choices, and not much time to look for a quieter place. so i apologize for the background noise, but with the short time and choices available, there was no better choice for filming :-) i still hope everyone will get something out of it. maybe another possibility for a "part 2" video will come up at some point.

i love it! i enjoyed this. two outstanding talents. i plan to buy rabb's '30 days...' dvd because watching the trailer alone got me practicing single stroke rolls every day, hours at a time. and benny! holy shit! the guy is fantastic... i can see why johnny cant stop praising him. cool guys. humble. just the way great drummers should be.

Benny is absolutely the man!

I was so glad and excited to see him at NAMM! This was about the length of our visit besides dinner one night with the MEINL crew. I really appreciate his support and his inspiration to me as a person & drummer. Norbert also rules for making this happen!

Hope all is well everyone. I am home now for a bit. BioDiesel just got finished with a 2 week east coast tour. Videos to come!

this is great. Johnny is such a great guy and player, it's so good to see Benny and JRabb hanging and talking. I hope more drummers push to discover all of the sounds of the drums as well as technique!! Great vid and yes namm is super loud, so this is the best option!!
