I would have to say that I prefer the traditional series because they seem a little bit darker than the brilliant which I prefer over brighter cymbals. That 's not to to say that the brilliant isn't amazing to though.

It'd be brilliant 10/10 traditional 11/10 :)

But I like the Brilliant Series solo more, that is some FUNKY stuff there, some of the coolest groovin I've seen.

So that's my input :) thank you Meinl and Felix for putting up video's like this so we can see and hear the cymbals!

the ride makes a kind of honky-piano sound. anyone noticed that? very weird ^^

His shifting in time and pattern is awsome!!!....incredibly free and sophisticated drumming, outstanding how he puts into scene these plates :D:D

I like the traditional series the best, but i really like how the hats cut through on the brilliant series as well as the splash and the china, the china has a great washy trash sound thats not to harsh. IM not big on the cymbals the tones aren't pleasant and the ride has no character. awesome playing felix, inspiring. thanks

Dominik

Great play Felix as usual:)

Well, I prefer the traditional series due to darker sound. I have a 16" brilliant china and a 14" traditional china in my set-up. I also have a 16" medium thin crash. I have removed from my set-up both the brilliant cymbals because I don´t like this "brilliancy"

Anyway, great playing Felix. You´re an inspiration:)
