I'm a huge fan of Gustav, he's a great drummer & has been the backbone of Tokio Hotel. It's nice to see him getting some attention (even if he's not the type to lap it up)...it's even nicer to hear him talk about the process of making music & the little technicalities that build up to what we enjoy.

& it's always hot to see a guy who knows his shit.

That's my favorite drummer. One day I hope to just sit down with him and just talk about drums and bands and get to jam with him. On his Tama drum set with meinl cymbals YEAH!!! That would be amazing!!!!

I was wondering whether to thank you for the wonderful interview (great questions!) or just getting Gustav comfy enough to talk for 9 minutes despite being shy!!! Whoot! I'll thank you for both!

He's definitely my favorite drummer now and always. It's about the music with him and it really shows, he's so very talented and just... wow! He's the pulse and the band-- Tokio Hotel wouldn't be the same without him!
