Has anyone got a mb20 china? i have a Byzance traditional but it has now cracked along the ridge.

I wanna know what the mb20's are like, i think the byzance was a little thin for me although im not an arm player, more in the wrists..

Thinking the mb20 might be a little more "heavy duty"
Meinl? can you help me out??

Cheers

Sam:

The MB20 chinas are AMAZING! I have an 18" Mb20 china and a 20" Byzance Traditional china, they work so well together! I recommend getting the MB20 if you need something loud, quick and trashy

thanx martin, ive orded one a few days ago and it should be here soon! also ordering some mb20 heavy crashes too to add to my collection of byzance brilliants and soundcaster customs.

Seems like most of the meinl work well with the other series. Cant wait!!

That Ride is a beast! Gonna get it this days just need to save my money a bit ;-)

Great drumming of course! ...What are the best Cymbals on the world without a good drummer...?

the mb20 rides are mindblowing!!!! especially the PMR;)
meinl ftw

I got a 16" heavy crash for Christmas (rather than the Mb10 I was intending to get - result!) and I can recommend them highly enough. It sounds positively evil, an absolutely monstrous sound from a mere 16", cuts straight through whoever I'm jamming with!

Hey Meinl (or anyone who can help me out) I'm looking for a new crash ride, needs to contrast in pitch well with my 16" Mb20 heavy crash. Could you tell me which of the Mb20 rides are good for crashing, or if the 20" Heavy crash is useable as a ride? Probably gonna be crashing more often than riding but it needs to be multi-purpose. Also thinking about the Byzance traditional rides if you can help me out, but ideally Mb20.

does anyone know which pedal he uses here ?

i thought that it's the pacific BOA, but he's TAMA endorser ??

I believe its an iron cobra, i used to have one before changing to my pearl eliminator, although which one it is i have no idea

Chris wrote on June 15, 2010 - 22:33

hey meinl, i was wondering why the 20" crash on felix's left sounds as though it has a crack in it, or is that because of its size?

Jones wrote on October 12, 2010 - 20:46

i want to buy a few of those. so my question is it worth of the money?

Spencer wrote on April 12, 2012 - 02:08

Hey guys i have an 18 medium heavy crash, a 16 heavy crash, a 20 heavy bell ride and 14 hihats and I gotta say... INCREDIBLE. Amazing sounding cymbals that work great for heavier music! I also want to get a 18 china in the future.
