I can honestly say that his kit sounds better (i know, irrelevant) but Mike is such a creative and flavorful drummer, that latin feel with those new cymbals just sounded explosive. With those cymbals, the latin style had a totally diferent feel to it than it would have with say zildjian or paiste.

It's so cool to see Mikey just playing drums. I love his lessons but it's fun to watch him just jam too.

I m so happy for Mike, making the switch to meinl, he is a great instructor, he really focuses and works a lot to provides us the students what is necessary to be a well rounded drummer, not just as a player but also as a person

Mike is awesome! Great teacher and stand up good guy. With all his students, he still makes the lessons feel personalized. I have been a student for 3years and have hundreds of lessons archieved. The guys one of the best instructors around. God Bless ya Mikeslessons.com
