Henry Beard Biography

Henry Beard is a live session drummer based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, NSW. The 24-year-old young gun has already toured extensively across Australia and the world, performing for bands such as Yours Truly, RedHook, Peni Parker and Down For Tomorrow, gracing some of the biggest music festival stages on the international calendar, from Germany’s Rock Am Ring to Australia’s Groovin The Moo. He’s currently the live session drummer for Sydney alt-rock act Yours Truly, and will join them on their 2023 May tour of the US, before returning down under to perform at two UNIFY Off The Record festivals in Adelaide and Wollongong. With a burgeoning reputation as one of the hardest hitting drummers on the scene, Henry is known as a charismatic force behind the kit, delivering furious flair to tasteful grooves that also pack a mean punch.
