Warmer fundamental tone
Classics Custom Dual cymbals are made from B12 bronze alloy with a highly specialized finish that brings out a warmer fundamental tone and response that can sit down in a mix or jump to life when the energy lifts. Their sound, feel and intensity is accentuated by the unique finish.
More about that finish
Having a dark center along with a deep over-hammering gives the cymbals the ability to punch through a dark and bold character. Lathed and highly polished edges soften the feel and create a flash of clean, high frequencies to round out the sound.
Dual hihats
Their warm tone with bright attack produces a spirited balance that draws you in at all dynamic levels. Notes are defined without feeling stiff. Having excellent stick and foot response, these hihats can weave through any style with their dark tone highlighted by a crisp finish.
Dual rides and crashes
Classics Custom Dual rides give you a dry stick attack with a bright bell and easy to control wash that support the cymbal with a warm undertow of sound. Their dark response is met with a nice give to their feel so they can really open up when crash-riding.
Crashes are equally as easy to open up with a bold, dark punch on the front end and a shimmering blend of smooth highs to make them sing without being glassy or overpowering.
Dual splashes and effects
Splashes have a fast sustain with a warm tone and a smooth attack that gets heard without being too cutting or jumpy. They are ideal for accents that speak up with complexity (great for stacking too).
The trash crashes have a velvety feel with explosive trashiness that blossoms to life instantly (also perfect for stacking).
