Kelly KC Biography

I grew up in a christian environment full of music. Since I was 8 years old I started to feel interested in music and my parents gave me a toy piano with integrated drum sounds. Ironically, I used that piano to play drums instead of its intended use. When I was 14 years old I got my first drum set and it was there where I felt that I wanted to dedicate myself to music entirely. Ever since, I have never really imagined myself doing anything other than music. I studied Music Theory and Education at Universidad Autónoma of Santo Domingo for 3 years. I also studied music composition at Vonkeleme a University in Costa Rica. I have been played for over 10 years at one of the most important Christian events held in the Dominican Republic called, ''LaBatalla de la fe.’’ This national event is celebrated every year on January 1st, more than 60,000 people are gather and millions watch through other mediums. I have had the opportunity to play with great Christian artists such as:

I was director of a Women's Orchestra, Shabach, from 2018-2019. We did two very successful tours in more than 10 presentations in various cities of Colombia and more than 50 presentations around the Dominican Republic.  Currently, I belong to a team of musicians that works for several artists at Riff Music Studio since 2010. I am also a drummer at Mahanaim Santo Domingo Church since 2007.
