Michiel van der Plicht Biography

Michiel van der Plicht (born April 27th 1981, Los Alamos, New Mexico) is one of the most versatile drummers around. He's well known for his expertise and knowledge in drumming, which he teaches at his drum school where he teaches even the most experienced drummers expand their creative and musical abilities. Michiel is also renowned and praised in the music scene as an outstanding, allround session drummer (both live as well as in the studio). He has recorded over thirty five albums and plays live all over the globe with numerous acts at prestigious venues and festivals. Additionally, he runs a recording studio specialized in drum recordings based in the Netherlands.
