Jari Salminen Biography

I’m a professional drummer based in Helsinki, Finland. After picking up the sticks at the age of nine I never looked back. My choice was made. After graduating from the Pop & Jazz Conservatory of Helsinki in 2004 I have been making a living out of banging the skins. I’ve toured and recorded extensively around the world with Poets Of The Fall and Ben Granfelt Band.

I’m also actively working with a Finnish pop star Anna Puu. Over the years I have performed and recorded with the biggest artists, bands and producers in Finland. I have had a recording facility in Helsinki, Finland for over a decade. There I track drums, mix and produce music.
